Bettin Custom Guns is a small family owned and operated business located near the small town of Lake View, IA.
We specialize in building extremely accurate, light weight hunting rifles using carbon wrapped barrels from Proof Research (formerly Advanced Barrel Systems)
We are not a large production operation. We build our rifles one at a time, with as much attention to detail as possible, in a “no rush” environment.

We use components that we know work, from manufacturers that we know and trust. We only do complete builds from start to finish, resulting in a “turn key” rifle system that includes scope mounting, custom load development and barrel break-in.

Every rifle is thoroughly tested for function and accuracy in our own 100 yd indoor shooting tunnel. We also have our own private outdoor range with targets out to 1000 yds. We use the customer’s preferred bullet choice and their scope for all the accuracy testing. No rifle leaves our facility until we are sure it will shoot AT LEAST ½ moa groups or better at 100 yds. We provide all the reloading data that we accumulate for each rifle, or we can provide custom loaded ammunition. Targets and bullet drop information out to 1000 yards will be available upon request.
We work very hard to provide our customers with the most accurate and functional rifle possible. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we do everything in our power to make sure our customers are satisfied.
